I have always been passionate about working with youth and I worked with the La Raza Youth Leadership Program to train and develop our Chicano youth to become leaders in their own community while helping them learn about culture, history, art and activism.

After teaching in Denver for 4 years shifted into a community organizing role working towards educational equity across Denver.
