My project focused on water quality monitoring in areas impacted by mines and mine tailing piles. I was interested in this project because of my love for nature and the environment as well as the desire to have a deeper understanding of issues impacting water quality in Boulder County.
What are you up to now?
I am a scientist at a biopharmaceutical company focused on developing cures for cancer.
